The museum occupies the second floor of the former Kaigetsuro (later the restaurant Shogetsu), which is mentioned in Hakushu’s poem “Omoide” (Memories). It displays colored papers, letters, photographs, and other items left behind by many literary figures who visited the museum, including Kitahara Hakushu, Noda Utaro, and Ryu Kanjitsu.
