The Amembo Center has a city library and a water museum. The Water Museum was created to learn about Yanagawa’s nature, water culture, and lifestyles through the relationship between the canals, which are the lifeline of Yanagawa, and the people, and to think about future urban development. There are many exhibits, such as models and tools, themed around water, centered on the canals. At Amebo Park on the opposite bank, the innocent laughter of children and the sound of nursery rhymes that occasionally play will make you forget time.
