hatago

Stay
  • Ryokan & Hot Spring Inns

You can only get a feel for “Japan” when you come to Yanagawa. Yanagawa is located in the southwestern part of the Chikugo region of Fukuoka Prefecture.
The inn’s name “hatago” is the romanized version of “hatago.” This was mainly during the Edo period, when post towns were thriving, and “hatago” was a place that provided lodging and meals for travelers.
This inn is a renovated traditional Japanese house built 87 years ago. There are three Japanese-style rooms on the second floor. Due to safety considerations, we only accommodate women, married couples, or couples.
